2nd Asian Workshop on Aircraft Design Education (AWADE)


On October 18th and 19th, 2nd Asian Workshop on Aircraft Design Education (AWADE) was held at NUAA. International Cooperation Office and the College of Aerospace Engineering jointly organized the workshop. 

More than 20 representatives from Australia, America, Germany, Russia and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics attended the workshop. It was the first time AWADE joined hands with European Workshop on Aircraft Design Education (EWADE).


During the ceremony, Anatoly Kretov, NUAA’s foreign expert and the president of AWADE, briefly introduced the overview of AWADE and EWADE. After the opening ceremony, a total of nearly 30 reports covering the design idea and concept, modern aircraft manufacturing methods of new materials, new economic efficiency of landing gear,  development of unmanned aerial vehicle (uav), aircraft engine fuel, aircraft systems and conceptual design, aircraft noise and solution, airworthiness, new concept aircrafts were discussed.
