High level delegation from NUAA visited AVIC International Flight Training College in South Africa
From November 6th to 9th, Secretary of The Party Committee Zheng Yongan executive deputy director of International Cooperation Office, Prof. Lai Jizhou , together with leaders from College of Civil Aviation visited AVIC International Flight Training Academy in South Africa.
AVIC International Flight Training Academy was co-founded by Nanjing University of Aeronautic and Astronautic, AVIC International Aero-development Corporation and South African Flight Test Academy in 2011. After years of development, AVIC International Flight Training Academy has made steady progress in infrastructure construction, fleet construction, faculty development, management and market development. It had completed more than 110 thousand hours of flight training so far, provided nearly 600 pilots to China and African countries, and become the largest aviation training academy in South Africa and even in Africa.
During the visit, the delegation made on-spot investigations regarding teaching conditions and infrastructure of three bases of the college in George, Oudt Shoorn, and Beaufort West,exchanged ideas with administrators of AVIC and visited flight cadets from NUAA who are currently getting their training in the college.
