Vice President of Aston University Prof. Saskia Hansen Visited NUAA

Professor Saskia Hansen, the new Vice President of Aston University who was in charge of international affairs, visited NUAA on December 2nd. The heads of the International Cooperation Office and the teachers' representatives of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering met foreign guests and held the meeting.

 

Executive deputy director of International Cooperation Office Prof.Lai Jizhou first congratulated Professor Saskia Hansen on her appointment as Vice President of Aston University and then expressed the hope of keeping in close contact, establishing cooperation mechanisms and carrying out substantive cooperation with Aston University.

Vice President Saskia Hansen thanked NUAA for its warm reception and hoped that this visit could promote the further development of the partnership between Aston University and NUAA.

During the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions and achieved a series of consensus on high-level visits, students exchange, running joint programs like doctoral training and international conference and establishing joint laboratories in scientific research.
